Run Fun
Now on the Apple App Store

Your form,
translated.

Run Fun is your voice running coach. Film a clip, see your form as a styled video with a biomechanics breakdown, and talk it through with Minna. Optional Watch + sensor alerts when you take her on a run.

Works on iPhone 12 or newer. Available on the Apple App Store.

90 seconds — record a clip, see your form, talk it through.

How it works

Record. Analyze. Coach.

Three steps from a clip on the trail to a voice conversation about your form.

  1. 01

    Record

Open the app, film a quick clip of your run. Your phone, on a stand or in a friend's hand. 5 seconds at 120fps is enough.

  2. 02

    Analyze

The cloud runs pose estimation on every frame and returns a styled video with your foot strike, overstride, and motion trail painted on top of you.

  3. 03

    Coach

Talk it through with Minna. She's read every frame and every number — ask her what the metrics mean for your body, your goals, your shoes.

What Run Fun does

Run better. Smile bigger. Go farther.

Run Fun pairs visual gait analysis with a voice coach who learns your body over time. Same Minna across every part of the app.

  • Form analysis

    See your form, on video.

Film a quick clip. Get back a styled video with cadence, stride, ground-contact time, and overstride ratio. See how you land — experiment and learn what works for your body.

  • Shoe fit

Find the shoe that fits you.

Side-by-side gait comparison across any shoes you can scan or type in. Built for Fit Experts at running stores, works for any runner deciding between a pair on the rack and the favorites in the closet.

  • Voice coach

    A coach who knows you.

Minna remembers your runs, your goals, your shoes. Talk to her before, after, or in between — voice or text. She's there for the morning check-in, the post-run debrief, and the questions you didn't know you had.

  • Live cues

    Feedback on your wrist.

On-device models on your Apple Watch tap you when you heel-strike, drift out of HR zone, or fall off pace. The alerts fire instantly, in the moment they matter.

Frequently asked

Questions, answered.

  • What devices do I need?

iPhone 12 or newer running iOS 17+. Apple Watch is optional — if you have a Series 8, Ultra, or newer (watchOS 26+), you also get live form alerts on your wrist. AirPods give Minna a microphone outdoors.

  • Is it free?

Free at launch. We'll be transparent if that changes — you'll hear about it from us first.

  • Does my data leave my phone?

Run videos go to our cloud for the pose-analysis pipeline, then come back styled and saved locally. We don't sell data. See the privacy policy for the full picture.

  • What does Minna actually know about me?

Whatever you tell her, plus the runs and form videos you've recorded in the app. If you connect Apple Health, Strava, or Oura, she can reference recovery and pace context. Disconnect any of it from Settings whenever you want.

  • Is this on Android?

No — iPhone only at launch. The on-device sensor work (Watch IMU + AirPods + cloud handoff) is built on iOS-specific frameworks. Android is a future thing, not a soon thing.

  • Who's behind Run Fun?

Built by Rooney Industries LLC in Denver, Colorado — runners, an ML engineer, and a lot of testers from the local trail community. Reach Colin at colin@rooneytech.com.
